Powered Parachute Flight Training
Welcome to the Powered Parachute instruction and FAA examination web site.
Two-seater powered parachutes are now classified as light sport aircraft. Therefore, they must be registered, "N" numbered like every other aircraft, and you must have an FAA pilot license to fly them.
The purpose of this site is to provide information about obtaining instruction from Certified Flight Instructors (CFI) so you can safely fly these wonderful aircraft. The site will also explain what you must do to obtain an FAA Sport Pilot license through a Sport Pilot Examiner, and how to add this additional category/class rating if you already have a Private license or higher.
